More on the Myspace Email

Here are some more related items to the email. Melinda made some myspace comments to her friends on July 3, 2006. Her last comment before the email was at 7:22PM to Matt Carlson. She thanked him for the flowers, and was in a pleasant mood. Then 53 minutes later at 8:15PM we are supposed to believe that Melinda changed Josh's profile (did not change "proud parent on his profile" created the horrendous threatening email, jam packed with emotion, then sent it to herself. Then at 8:26PM she sent a "Hey Bitch" to Cierra Bacon from FF. Then one minute later at 8:27 she changed the profile again. Then at 10:16PM she's posting again to Pope. That message she received was a private message, an email from Myspace, not a post on her "wall". So she was on myspace but wasn't logged out, so she didn't get any private message until the next morning when she logged back on to myspace.

It would be interesting to see Melinda's cell phone records of the time of this e-mail. If she was on the phone yakking it up I doubt that she would have been able to do both at the same time. Where was Trenton on this night?

That's one of the problems with this case. Even with the liberal "Sunshine Laws" of Fl (as seen in the Caylee Anthony case), there have been no "official" records released to anybody (that we know of or can find, and there have been plenty of people asking for them). The only "official" anything I've seen with this case is the so called BOA document that was never even filed properly, or the words of investigators in interviews. But since even the investigators differ on what they believe, how can you just go by that? It has been said there were 2 phone calls on Melinda's phone right around the time of Trenton's disappearance that alot of people would like to know about, but evidently, in Leesburg, you must present yourself in person to the lead investigator/s and have a reason "they" deem necessary to even ask for documents relating to this case. (They don't return emails or phone calls and in the slim chance that you do get to talk to a person, they just switch you around to someone else's voice mail.) 3+ years after Trenton was reported missing, I've seen not one person state they have "official" copies of anything relating to this investigation...

Iirc, it has been stated in various places that Melinda's friend Cara was babysitting Trenton the night of the threatening email, but that's just what I read online, so I could be wrong...

The current detective assigned to the case - Brian Cash - does not return calls to the grandparents. The same runaround. I wonder if they even pulled her phone records for July 3, 2006? They were so eager to accept the IP address as "proof". And the expert who was going to go over Josh's computer? I think it is someone else's laptop that was used outside Melinda's apartment that night.

Also interesting to note about where was Trenton on this night. There are two possibilities. If Cara did indeed babysit that night, it was because Melinda was delivering newspapers. But Melinda used to take Trenton with her, asleep in his carseat. She also would ask friends to accompany her. One interesting note is that Josh still had visitation with Trenton on weekends. The last Friday in June he had Trenton, and Melinda went on her paper delivery route, and her BRAKES FAILED THAT NIGHT! Melinda had already filed for divorce 2 weeks beforehand, which Josh was fully aware of. He told her to pay for it and he'd sign it. Right.
