Apparently the evening before Melinda played pool with Chen. And then Wednesday she met up with Brent Compton and went to the shooting range with him and a buddy of his.

All of these daily events in Melinda's life...losing her job, now having to find another; practicing shooting, running, and anticipating to join the police force (of all places Leesburg Police Dept); taking classes at the college: scared and worrying about threats from Josh; battling for unpaid child support; trying to create more income by dabbling in foreign exchange  (Forex), more battles in court, trying to finalize her divorce, involved in trying to solve some of the mystery surrounding James Duckett's case, investigating people associated with Melissa Jones in prison, her monthly bills, renewing her tag and license, paying her car payment, car insurance, Trenton's daycare, going to Access to get help, and most of all taking care of her beautiful son whom she loved more than life itself.  Now, tell me...

WHEN DID MELINDA HAVE THE TIME TO PLAN HANDING TRENTON OFF TO SOME UNKNOWN PERSON TO KEEP HIM FROM JOSH DUCKETT?

AND WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD SHE EVER DO SUCH A THING?

Melinda Duckett is NO different than ALL THE OTHER SINGLE MOMS who are struggling to keep their families together. 

And many of those moms have a POS to deal with, a POS who wants control and is abusive and doesn't want to pay child support (because they don't look at it as paying for the CHILD but paying money to the child's MOM).

And didn't Josh Duckett do the exact same thing to his OTHER son's mother? You betcha.
