Just received numerous public records from FDLE - the Florida Department of Law Envorcement - concerning the Leesburg Police Investigation. I will publish the records in a series of articles.
Here is Melinda's handwritten police report regarding her sonTrenton Duckett:

I have read almost your entire blog, so much good information, thank you. I have a couple of nagging questions you may know the answers to and an insight I would like to share.
1. In this report, it mentions Melinda avoiding a neighbor she was having trouble with. Any additional info about that?
2. Not sure if it was on your site or not, but reports totaling 2000 pages or so were said to have been generated in NY by DCS for Melinda and her adoptive parents. Have you seen these reports?
3. If these reports do exist, how were they able to have/adopt another child/children? I remember reading in the NG lawsuit that there was a minor sibling named.
My comment is, I think Melinda was a kind and caring person, just a little lost. If it is true that there were 2,000+ pages of alleged abuse during her childhood, she still left her parents a suicide note. That speaks volumes about her character to me.
A neighbor in apartment directly behindMelinda's apartment who's name is Wahanina Leggett told SA (FDLE) Denise Nevers that "she had been to Wal-Mart and was walking on the sidewalk toward Apt 30, when she saw Duckett. Duckett said "hello" to Leggett, but Leggett did not respond because she was caught by surprise to see someone walking where Duckett was walking. She stated that Duckett did not have a child with her. Leggett estimated that the time she saw Duckett was between 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM. She also stated that she saw Melinda walking along the fence line of the apartment. She recalled that Duckett was wearing a coat, hat and blue jeans. She gave that statement on Sept 3, 2006.
As far as the 2000 pages, I believe that refers to the 2000 pages obtained by WESH news pertaining to the DCF allegations by Josh against Melinda. It took a court order to release them as information of that nature is confidential.

Ah, I see. I misread it as saying there was a 2200+ page file for Melinda as a child in NY. This is how rumors start... :)
